Shilpa Shetty on family support

Shilpa Shetty recently had a conversation with IndiaToday.in where she discussed being typecast at the beginning of her career and expressed gratitude for her family's unwavering support.

 Additionally, she highlighted the significant influence her son Viaan had on her decision to take on the role of Tara Shetty in 'Indian Police Force.'

 She also revealed that her collaboration with Rohit Shetty was long overdue as earlier she was earlier approached for 'Golmaal', which didn't work out.

 Shilpa also told us that her son Viaan is a big Rohit Shetty fan, and he is one of the key reasons for Shilpa taking up this role.

 Shilpa was asked about when the industry opened up to the actor in her and looked beyond her vanity. "I was typecasted in the first seven-eight years in the start of my career. It's not like I wasn't acting, but the 90s was a different era.

 All of that together worked for me as an actor and put me in a different graph, followed by 'Phir Milenge', 'A Life In A Metro', 'Dus', 'Rishtey', which were milestones in my career that allowed me to play a gamut of characters which only happened post 'Dhadkan'," she said.
