 1. Goofy Pental Who can forget actor Gufi Paintal, who played the character of 'Shakuni' in 'Mahabharata'. The actor had become a household name with his character. While talking to Dainik Bhaskar, the actor had told that when he was studying engineering, there was a war between India and China in 1962. In such a situation, direct recruitment was done to join the army. He always wanted to join the army, so he became a part of the army.

 2. Achyut Poddar Achyut Poddar was a professor in Rewa, Madhya Pradesh before starting his journey in Bollywood. He served the country as a captain in the Indian Army and retired in 1967. He entered the industry at the age of 44 and was seen in films like 'Dabangg 2', 'Lage Raho Munna Bhai', 'Parineeta' and '3 Idiots'. His dialogue from Aamir Khan's '3 Idiots', "Hey, kehna kya chahte ho?" It went very viral.

 3. Bikramjit Kanwarpal Even though actor Bikramjeet Kanwarpal is no more in this world, he has worked in many great films. The actor set out to fulfill his dream of becoming an actor after retiring from the Indian Army as a Major in 2002. He entered Bollywood in 2003 and appeared in Madhur Bhandarkar's film 'Page 3'. He has also been a part of many films like 'Atithi Tum Kab Jaoge?', 'Murder 2', 'Aarakshan' and 'Corporate'.

4. Anand Bakshi Anand Bakshi is the best lyricist of Hindi cinema, who wrote more than 3 thousand songs in his career spanning 5 decades. His superhit songs include many great songs including 'Accha To Hum Chalte Hain', 'Do Lafzon Ki Hai', 'Kuch To Log Kahenge'. Bakshi was a cadet in the Royal Indian Navy, but due to some reason he lost this job. After this, he worked in the Indian Army from 1947 to 1956. Bakshi died in 2002.

 5. Rudrasish Majumdar Rudrashish Majumdar has been a part of many Bollywood films like 'Chhichhore', 'Hawa Singh', 'Mrs. Undercover' and 'Jersey'. Apart from this, he has also appeared in many advertisements, but many people do not know that the actor was in the Indian Army for 7 years before joining the industry. Rudrasish is an alumnus of the National Defense Academy and the Indian Military Academy (Dehradun). He joined the Army in 2011 and retired as a Major in 2018.
